64 year old male. Caregiver for my 90 year old Mother with Alzheimer's since mid 06. Gained 40 lbs trying to get her to eat. Now she is full time in a Nursing home and I am trying to get from 203 down to 165. Started this about 2 weeks after I started calorie reduction. This and the app on my cell phone have made it easy for me to track what I eat. I started reducing carbs to less than 100 and calories as near to 1500 a day in mid September.

Flax Seed
To get all the nutritional value just grind whole flax seed in a blade type coffee grinder. My (Braun) grinder will grind 1/4 cup at a time perfectly.
