I am a 50 year young female who has been battling weight issues since my early teens. This time when I get to goal I have decided to make it a lifetime commitment and never hop on that yo yo rollercoaster ever again. I have lost 22 lbs. so far with 50 lbs. to goal. I am happily married with two children (19 & 14 years old). My favorite thing to do is golfing each week with hubby (walking of course). I also enjoy cooking & baking (not a surprise that eating goes along with that), gardening, reading, and believe it or not EXERCISING. Looking forward to sharing with anyone when I figure out how to buddy people.lol

What's your workout?
I only do cardio (jogging, elliptical, bike) usually 4 days per week and also golf one round per week walking when it's not too hot. I would love to do some weight training but have problems with tendinitis in the elbow. I tried using resistance bands but even that causes pain afterwards. Anyone have any suggestions as to what type of exercises I could do that wouldn't bother my elbow?

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Usually weigh first thing in the morning every day which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you perceive it.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???
I was just wondering what kind of carbs you were eating. I noticed they were the highest number on your diet calendar. If they are coming mostly from processed food such as bread, white rice and pasta, and crackers or cereal and starchy vegetables like potatoes or corn, I would cut them out and only eat whole foods such as fresh fruit and vegetables, brown rice and whole wheat pasta along with lean protein and low fat dairy. Exercise is a biggie too even if you just start out walking you'll see results. Hope this helps.

What's your workout?
My exercise 3-4 days per week is to spend an hour each session on the elliptical, treadmill or bike. I also golf (walking) once a week and only take a cart if it is extremely too hot to walk. My part time job 3 days per week has me standing/walking back and forth for 6 hours a shift so I also count that as exercise cause when I get done I am too beat to do any other type of exercise that day. Before I bought all this exercise equipment I used to walk around a track for 4 miles per day every day even in inclement weather. I did that for about 15 years. Great stress reliever!

Diet Calendar
Hi all! I can't seem to enter food in my diet calendar. It keeps sending me in a loop and I don't know where to enter my food. I started on this website about a week ago and have just now wanted to start my food diary because I have been writing it down in my Weight Watcher's Journal anf figure I would be better off doing it online. Can anyone help? Thanks.Smile
