WHAT IS EVERYONE FOLLOWING FOR FOOD OPTIONS?
if you go to
http://latoyourdoor.com/t-HowDoIChooseAPlan.aspx
scroll down to the chart. go to your height and wieght and it'll tell you which plan to follow. scroll down again and click on whichever plan you are doing and it'll pull up a food diary that has how much of each portion you are suppose to have. hope this helps!!

Just hit 50!
first, you need to figure out what works for you. If you have no problem limiting your portions, then I would suggest weight watchers as you can have anything and everything, you just limit portion sizes and count points. If you need a strict diet on what to eat and what not to eat, I would suggest something like LA weightloss. you have a certain amount of foods to eat every day from each of the food groups. (for example, my plan is 3 proteins, 3 veggies, 2 fruits, 2 startches, 2 fats and 2 dairy.) I've never tried atkins, but it seems to be working for people. don't know if it's a plan that limits certain food groups or not.

need ideas to "spice" up veggies
i eat a veggie pizza. get a torilla shell, and 100% pure tomato sauce and load up on things like broccoli (very finely chopped) mushrooms, onions, cucumber, etc and top with a tiny bit of low fat mozzerella. bake at 350 for about 10 mins. tastes great!!
or you can sprinkle a little mrs. dash on some veggies and pan fry them.
