Still battling. 2011 was an excellent year for me. I came within 4 pounds of my dream weight. But alas...I am now 20 pounds away. I continue the battle! I am trying weight watchers this time. We'll see

2018 update. Saw an old email that reminded me of this site! So I'm back. At my highest weight. But I noticed that when I did lose a significant amount of weight in the past, it was one pound a week with an occasional jump. I will try to just keep going slowly.

lightheadedness
I experienced the lightheadedness throughout the detox phase. It was almost unbearable! I too was a huge eater, so I know my body was in shock. I tried to sleep a lot and just think of all of the weight I was losing. It paid off after the 9 days! I lost 8.5 pounds. Now I stay strict because the last thing I want to do is go back to the detox phase!
Stay strong!

How often do you weigh in?
I have two scales. One is the "offical scale" that gives me body fat percentage. The other is the "old scale." I don't know how accurate it is, but I allow myself to weigh on that scale as much as I want with my clothes on. I only weigh on the offical scale once a week. I too am an obsessive weigher. The two scale thing allows me to feed my need to weigh, but I also know that it is not really my true weight. I record that weight once a week.

Confused
I am confused about the amount of meat and fish we are allowed to have in Phase II. The book says 4oz of meat AND 3 oz of fish. Is that everyones understanding?
