This photo is from Halloween 2009. I figured Princess Fiona in ogre form would suit my body type well, but I hope to go maybe in human form by next Halloween!
I'm active and energetic and good with weight maintenance. I'm just bad at losing after a couple health setbacks in the form of a broken leg and later a broken arm. I got tired of feeling bloated every night, so I decided to take drastic measures. I signed up for an Optifast program at my local Kaiser after I watched a friend in the same program lose 25 pounds in six weeks! She's lisabick and she's only 8 weeks ahead of me now.
Northern California is a great place to live with skiing, beaches and hiking trails. I'm looking forward to buying cute hiking clothes, swimming suits, and work clothes and feeling good about getting out clothes shopping again.
I'd love to be able to run 10-miles again, but I just can't do that when I weigh 200+ pounds. The next time I do a triathlon, maybe I won't be in the "Athena Class", the one for women over 150 pounds.
