Weight challenged for the last several years - using food as a comfort to relieve the stress and anxiety of life's unexpected challenges. Starting to get a handle on things. First goal is 250 (down from my start at 326.5). We shall see what happens from there. I'm 6 ft 5 inches after losing an inch to gravity over the last number of years.

Happily married to my best friend with two grown children and six grand children.

I am a native duck (complete with webbed feet - ha!) - born in Oregon and now living in Vancouver (just outside Portland, Oregon). The beautiful green Pacific Northwest!

Sandy, my best friend (wife) and I have been on a diet I crafted for us last June (2012). She has done much better than I. She met her first goal, set another, met that and is now on her third and final goal!

Best of luck to you (the reader of this) as you travel down life's wonderful road filled with surprises, challenges, happiness, joy, and, yes, the occasional sorrow. How could we ever enjoy the sweet it if were not for the bitter to give us a comparison?
