Fatsecret has been a great tool and asset, and the fact I can come back when I stumble is amazing. I absolutely do better when I record and have some accountability for the things I eat. I absolutely do better watching Fatsecret posters go orange, yellow, green and blue. I absolutely do better when I see the progress pictures. Last August, I moved back to the states, and my weight graph is telling. Portions and ingredients changed, and I am stunned by how passively I watched myself undo the effort from before, over a 6 month span. I almost undid it all. But – I’ve been orange before, and plan to get back there. I can’t remember ever being a normal weight – a nickname when I was 5ish was “pillow baby”…but I am eager for the wii to say “That’s normal” one day, instead of “That’s obese” like it has said every day so far. I am a vegetarian Engineering student and an amateur gardener. Hit me up if you want to talk plants or assemblies. =D

Anyone doing Zumba Wii?
I haven't tried the wii or DVDs, but I have taken the Zumba classes at the gym and really really liked them! It is the most fun workout I've ever done.

But then, I think my positive opinion is all about the teacher, and the energy in the room. We have this sassy, Colombian teacher who dances for the fun of it - and it makes the experience awesome.

It is the first time I've ever looked forward to a workout, because it is just dancing for an hour.

I am curious about the dvds now - I will be eager to know how it works out. =)
