I started AGAIN to get healthy. My original goal was to be fit by 40...lost almost 50 lbs...worked out with a trainer, and did a mini sprint triathlon in September 2008. Then...IKE HIT HOUSTON! 24 Hour Fitness was closed down for a bit, and I was working on getting my house back together. It is done. I gained back my weight, and only hit the gym about 3 times in the last (almost) 2 years! So...

...now I'm on a Doctor's Approved/Monitored diet (Track 1) with Garth Davis, MD from the hit show Big Medicine. I'm not following it TO THE TEE, but am staying within my calories, high protein, and low carb, and eating his approved foods for his "Track 2" patients.

I've lost 37 lbs., according to his office, in 9 weeks, so it's going good for me. On here, however, I've recorded my start (highest) weight here at home, and I'll be weighing in at home to update this daily or when I can.

I also want to hold myself accountable to my friends and family who know what my goal is, which is to be healthy and more active with my family! So, I've invited several friends that I hope to be my buddies soon. :) And, TBL ladies from Sagemont?? Jump on board! I'm in it for the long haul this time!
