Fat and happy is no way to go through life! I'm still happy of course, but over the years let myself go, and trust me , I went over the edge! My DH and I were in Mexico last winter, and felt as if everyone was snickering at me when wearing a swimsuit and sarong. When we got home in early March, I started on Atkins. I had experienced some really good results from it when I was on the diet some 10 years ago, but now being in my 40's, it worked to a point, but then didn't see near the results I had in my early 30's. At that point I decided to just cut out as many carbs, starchy foods, and fats as I could, and watch my calorie intake. So far I'm down 40 pounds :-) My goal is to lose another 30 lbs by the end of February, 2011 when we go back to Mexico. Any pointers anyone would care to offer would be greatly appreciated :-)

Help I need low impact exercise ideas
I don't know what kind of cable company you have, but my cable Co. has a movie/video/tv show library on it, and every day I pull up a free exercise video, and there are lots to chose from, including plenty of core videos which would not impact your knees Smile
