I'm 62, unemployed and I love to fish. I live on the TX coast with my wonderful husband and we like to fish at night under the lights. I have 1 daughter, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Love going on a cruise, enjoy word games on the net and occasionally like to go to a casino but in TX there are none. Have 3 dogs, a toy poodle and male & female Papillons.

Belly Fat
When I was young and still in school I wanted to weigh 100 lb so bad but couldn't quite make it. I graduated weighing 98 lbs. After high school I gained a little, maybe 10 lbs. I could eat most anything I wanted and however much I wanted and didn't gain. After I got married and had a baby I was pretty good. 9 mo pregnant I weighed 136. After my daughter was born my body changed and I had no problem gaining weight. Thus my presence here...... LOL I ended up at 191 as of last Feb and became totally disgusted with myself. So she is good for now she just needs to keep an eye on it after she gets married that seemed to be when all my weight problems started. If I had it to do over again I think I'd learn about healthy eating and form good habits BEFORE it becomes a problem..........

Hurting Calves
I've been walking about 3 months now and I'm still having trouble with hurting calves. I gave up this morning after 3 laps. When I was in Colorado (higher altitude) I walked with NO pain. Come back to Texas and its back to hurting calves everytime I walk. Some days are worse than others but it's always there. I take magnisium, do the stretching before and after the walk. I'm trying to drink more water but if not thirsty I forget, I just don't think about it. Have to figure out how to remember to do it. If I can't fix this then I'm looking at something to do besides walking and I don't want to do that. I've gotten great results from it. Can anyone suggest anything? Thanks

Eating healthy through menopause
I have hot flashes so bad my skin stings. Wakes me up in the night so I feel like I was born tired and never got rested. I'm going to check out the site also.

Diet Soda - HELP
I totally agree that the chemicals are bad for us. Sodas take calcium out of your bones to neutralize the acid in them. I was told by a health proffessional that it takes a lot of water to neutralize the soda (I'm old can't remember how many oz) but it was enough to make me quit soda. Maybe once or twice a year I'll drink a Barqs root beer.

Delete an exercise permanently so it doesn't show up every @#$!% day
I'm having an issue with not being able to delete an exercise instead of reducing it. I've changed some things and some I'd like to delete all together, but apparently that can't be done. Does anyone know something about deleteing an exercise so you can add another one?
