Happy Sunday Best Buddies:

I started my day with BPC and went to the gym. I lifted pretty heavy and did some sprint rowing between sets. Not my heaviest weights but I suppose my lowered calories impacts strength a bit during my cut!

I just made some yummy low-carb, high protein pancakes - almond flour! Who knew? I ate them while they were hot and did not get a photo!

Whisk 2 eggs, add 1/4 cup fine almond flour, 1/4 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, cinnamon to taste. Mix well and cook on a hot pancake griddle. Be sure to be careful if you add any type of sweetener (honey, fake sugar, or maple syrup) that the carbs will go up!

I need to give it a try but I would prefer them for supper with a couple strips of bacon on the side. Glad your betting back to normal.

I was just reading about using almond flour. Glad to hear that someone has tried it and liked it. Guess I'll see if I can find some :)

I tried the almond flour pancakes, and wasn't crazy about them. Then I discovered "CarbQuick". Nirvana! It does everything BisQuick can do, but very low carb.

CarbQuick has wheat and gluten which is why I do not use it.

Ah....good point. It doesn't seem to trigger me, but I'll be paying closer attention when I use it again. I don't use it often. The first box I bought 8 months ago is still half-full.

You are lucky, Kes. Wheat eventually kicks in for me and I want more.
