im so stressed out with personal stuffs going on at work and with my son right now.. that ive decided to take it out at the gym... I was massively screwed over at work and blind sided.. and my son is at the phase where Im not sure if he is moving out or not and he is going about the wrong way ... bc he's stressing over some stuff on his end..DH has been a huge support.. and what do I do then the going gets tough? I walk.. I walk and walk and walk.. to clear my head.. MY son didn't come home last night (he's 19 and I know where is at and I just spoke to him so I know he is fine), but he called in to work which he has never done in a year (he is stressing about school a lot).. and i got my review at work today and Im going to confronted about some whiny behavior on Friday, which Im embarrassed about. My new boss to play like that.. so im a little on edge today. I just need to remind myself, food is not the answer. I did my meal prep yesterday and headed to gym to burn off some steam before work.. I just want today to be over with already..
190.0 lb Lost so far: 116.0 lb.    Still to go: 40.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

sometimes ya just gotta face up, apologise, take your lumps . no argument. just accept it. even when you are in the right. better to look at the long term affect . being right does not always need to be broadcasted . sorry for your perdicament.

Take a deep breath and tell yourself - I can do this and I can be the team member I need to be. And yes, the gym and walking are a great places to work out the stress. YOU CAN DO THIS!! (and you continue to inspire me to do better).

I can relate....Now-a-days I try to apply the 'not my monkey/not my zoo' approach, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Most of the time it is with things I do not have control over, especially with other people and their 'things', sometimes I have to modify it with 'not my monkey BUT I do work in a zoo' LOL then I get a little giggle and it helps bring the stress down some. Or 'not my monkey and I have left the zoo' when I leave at the end of the day and especially on Friday if I have the weekend off! take care of YOU!

JMA312, I saw another take on that theme the other day. "Not my monkeys, not my circus. My monkeys fly!" Yep, I can be a witch sometimes, but only if you make me! Red, sorry you are having so many issues, they can derail us if we aren't careful. Take care. Didn't have similar problems at work awhile back?? Maybe it's time to turn your monkeys loose!
