Ugh...I wish sometimes I could stop weighing every day. LOL On the bright side, I went to the store and bought a new outfit. Both jeans and shirt were a size smaller. Victories.

A smaller size is a big victory! Good for you!

Awesome! Depending on your resistance training regiment, muscle takes up less space than fat. So you can lose inches but the scale not more down. That's ok. Use a tape to track your progress more than the scale. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/p3WATkKhaNs

Smaller clothes rock! If you weigh daily, do not post it. Just keep track and take the average number at the end of the week. Much less frustrating

Smaller sizes are more important than the scales...psychologically, I feel much trimmer in a smaller size than seeing a pound loss on the scales. Inches are the physical evidence of weight loss. Congrats on your new size:)

Latest research is that for some people, daily weigh-ins act as a motivator. Contrary to the old advice to either weigh in once a week or even throw out the scale. For some people, that daily weigh in helps keep them focused on the goal.

If you weigh yourself, you don't have to record until you've got a good result. Like your mamma said: if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything. though of course sometimes it's important to fess up to an uptrend. Happy for you on the smaller clothes!

hahaha .. I'm also going a little too crazy with the weighting, as if not eating for an hour is gonna show a difference in the scale :D . Congrats in the new size! :)

I usually weigh every day, but as Erika says, you don't have to record every day. I frequently find I drop a little, then go up and down for a couple of days before settling at the lower number. When I have been at the lower number for a few days, that's when I record it. Seems to work for me.

It's the measurements that count, as the same weight in muscle has less volume!! Congrats!!!

Thanks Pandasmom. That works best for me, too. I just hate it when, for a few days, the numbers go a fair way up, before they go down!
