So proud of myself. I have gone to the gym everyday so far this week. I am really enjoying my diet. Although I ate out twice I made sure I had enough calories to fit in a dinner at a sushi place. I also try to pick the leanest foods when I am out dining.

I have been cycling calories - 1800 On lifting days 1600 Cardio days
So far I feel great and I feel like I am making progress. I will be doing weigh ins on Mondays only.

Only issue is I have been staying up later than normal past couple of nights. I do feel sooooo tired. Thankfully today is a cardio day so I might take it easy and power walk on the tredmill.

My calves are SO SORE that when I walk I limp. I look hilarious. On Tuesday I did a 40min jump rope circuit. So now my calves are SO SORE its so hard to walk its painful. I tried to get out of bed and fell over 3 times haha.

Not only do my calves hurt...I forgot my 2 meals for work at home =( Luckily I have greek yogurt and fruit for one meal. But now I might have to order a salad or something to be delivered to my office. Oh well things happen.

Happy Thursday--cant wait to go to sleep tonight

Take it easy on your calves! I am a runner and went hiking in March and ran a race the next weekend. Major cramp/tightening in right calf during the race. Had ex-rays and no tears. But, given the OCD me, Wanted to get right out and run again. Mistake. So, I've taken considerable time off from running. Doing upper body Tabata and elliptical machine. Anything to NOT over stress my calf. My injury happened in mid-March. It's early May. Still not able to run. I've missed 3 races, including a half-marathon. ADVICE: Stay off of it; ice, elevate, and take an anti-inflammatory. Do as I say, not as I do. lol Finally taking Drs. advice now. If I had earlier, probably could have been running again in mid-April.

Sounds like you got this thing down. I feel the same way. I really didn't realize, what a lousy diet I was on, until I came here, and got things straight. I feel so good now. Congrats, Panigale! I hope it all works out for you, dear!

Great job at sticking to a plan!! Just be careful to not overtrain. Taking a day or two of rest is much better than getting hurt and being out for a month or two :)

thanks guys. I agree with the rest idea. I didnt think a jump rope curcit could kill my calves so much! Today I plan to take it easy and do a walk with the dogs as my little bit of cardio. Tomorrow is another training day- I will see how my calves feel and work around them

Jumping rope is an amazing accomplishment! I know I could not last more than about one minute!
