performance: losing 1.0 lb a week
I'm a 54 year old single male who lives in Tennessee. I'm 6'2" tall.
I decided in July 2014 to start a major diet and exercise change. I wanted to eat better to lose weight to be able to start running. So, the more I ran, the more water I'll drink and the more full I feel. And the more full I feel, the less I eat, and the easier it is to run. Repeat the process.
I started losing weight pretty fast. Since it's gotten colder, I've been doing cardio on the treadmill and cross-training to gain more muscle definition.
At this point. From July 16th, 2014 to January 13, 2015, I've lost 50 lbs.
A down side is that I've had to replace ALL of my clothes, which has gotten a bit expensive. I also wonder now that I'm on this path, what is the right weight for me to stop and work on maintenance. I guess I'll figure it out. My goal for this winter was to maintain +\- 5 lbs especially during the Holidays.
