I survived Olive Garden! We went out last night and I ordered salmon and broccoli, had salad . I did have 5 croutons and a half a bread stick BUT that's actually really good for me bc I can wipe out a 5 bread sticks on my own.
I didn't post anything yesterday bc we were on the road all day car shopping and finally got one. Its a old car 2001 but its a great 1st car for the kid. Took today off so we could do some maintenance bc its sat parked for a month. The good part is now we can work out in the mornings which Im so looking forward to that.
Met with the nutritionist and she sent me some stuff to start adding in more healthy fruits.. excited !!

Good job, the bread sticks would have been a problem half would have lead to the rest of the basket.

Nice going at Olive Garden! I've found there are usually pretty healthy choices at most restaurants, sometimes need to avoid the "traditional" fare. We have a Mexican restaurant near us that serves a fantastic salmon salad, and another dish that's basically half a roasted chicken, delicious. As long as we avoid the chips it's a great place to go.

It's the portion sizes at these places that kill diets. Fantastic news about visiting with a dietician/nutritionist. I never get these diets that avoid fresh fruits & veggies.
