When I got into his history he was watching adult videos. OMG It was a child account a friend showed him how to hack me and changed it to standard - no wonder I was having trouble adjusting times and making changes. I just made a new unhackable PW (I hope I can remember it).

OMG, I often wondered what my kids were doing on the computer. Thank God their dad checked up on them and now, they are adults...PHEW! Good luck to you and your family!

I think I would be taking the computer off him and locking it away anytime he isn't using it for schoolwork. He needs to understand there are consequences. Have a good trip. Who is looking after kids while you are away?

I ended up locking my oldest step grandson from getting online at all on my computer using the parental controls. He was staying at my house after he finally graduated at 20, learning issues, while supposedly looking for a job. 3 days turned into 6 weeks. I found porn on the history. He was not happy. Kelly, have a terrific convention!!

you know at 12 i expected to address SEX as a topic not the day I have to go out of town. So there is also a conflict on his comp where i cannot setup parental controls but now that i have his PW.... beware it will change and he will have to earn the new PW until MOM figures her way around the conflict something with the virus protection and setting for child. going to take some research. but I am on it. He is with my husband's sister all week. So, I have some idle time between sales so I hope to get some of the research done. SMH WOW just WOW!!!

another good trick to use is to turn off the internet to that computer. You can log into your provider and shut down access for that particular computer or set specific hours when they can use it. Good luck! Parenting in the computer age is so hard.
