Today marks 50 pounds total lost, an excellent milestone!

Haven't been very chatty recently; being busy getting things into shape for this season's Gardening Extravaganza and being away from my computer in general will do that. The weirdly warm weather we've been getting in SoCal could be entirely to blame for wanting to be out of doors, but March is the month for planting, 80+ degree temps or no.

This year we're growing from seeds (which is a whole new venture), a couple of plants which were bought and transplanted, and a few established plants which survived previous seasons.

It's been tomato plants the last several years (and one jalapeno plant, which is now a shrub), but the ante has certainly been upped with growing from seed for a plethora of different vegetables like string beans, lettuce, zucchini, bell peppers, radishes, even more tomatoes, basil, oregano, sage, thyme, dill, cilantro.

So much has been planted that I'm not even certain if I covered all of the edibles. There are seedlings and they are growing; that's well and fine.
194.0 lb Lost so far: 50.0 lb.    Still to go: 44.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I do everything you listed plus garlic, potatoes, cucumbers and spinach. I just ordered a bunch of strawberry plants too.. It's so satisfying to grow your own food.

Love my gardens as well! Planted a bed of cold tolerant veggies last weekend, we aren't out of the season for hard frosts yet. Last average hard frost date is April 15th for here. I do have a ton of herbs peeking out of the ground and chives waving in the wind ready to start cutting a few here and there.

I think it's better to be away from our computers sometimes because hopefully, it means we're more active. LOL. Gardening is good therapy and burns calories. You are an inspiration losing 50 pounds! I am once again, starting over, but at a higher weight. It sounds like you have great will power and you are motivated. Your garden sounds beautiful and you will have plenty of nice healthy meals as a reward!
