I'm 52 and starting my diet this year. I lost over 50 pounds last year (went from a size 16 to a size 6). Unfortunately, I stopped exercising and dieting and not only put it all back on, but more. I have a severe thyroid problem, but I don't want to use that as an excuse. The reason I put the weight back on was my own fault--bad eating habits and no exercise. I'm not giving up. I have a positive attitude. I weighed in at 212.4 on 01/02/2014 and this morning, at 11:00, I weighed in at 208. I messed up when I joined the website this morning and don't know how to fix it--LOL.
I am married with a 12-year old daughter. My family is extremely supportive with my diet and exercise routine. Last year, my daughter was really looking toned because she exercised with me! My husband is a wonderful cook and that's where part of the problem lies--LOL. He cooks very high fat/high carb foods and eats several meals/snacks. I can't blame him, but only myself. I must say, he is helping and when he does cook for me, cooks separate dinners. How awesome is that?
I love my pets: 2 dogs, six cats, a rabbit and my fish! I have plenty of hobbies, but not too much time to pursue them lately. That is another resolution--to make time to do my hobbies (crafts, cooking, DIY Home Improvements).
