Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!! Hope you enjoy your day today :) It's in the 70's today w/ a beautiful breeze blowing. Hoping to spend some time at the beach this afternoon.
All things food related - going fine. Back in Induction after completing 7 days of a 'meat/eggs only fast'. It helped me drop about 2-3 lbs in one week... then got on an airplane, ate in induction while gone to Alabama... then flew back... and right back at 145.
Not weighing in until I can record a loss. We'll see how long this takes me :)
As long as I know I am eating healthy (according to my WOE), exercising and active regularly... than WHATEVER!!! It'll come and I am patient.
Hope you all enjoy your day... much Love.

When I did the Fat Fast, I went back up and then started losing a pound/week after that so I am sure you'll be OK.
Good job on gewtting through the plateau! Those are such a bummer.

Weird, all day today, I have given myself every reason under the sun to just GIVE UP! I've learned so much that I can easily discern healthy foods, and healthy portions, etc... so just eat whatever, it won't matter! What's that all about??? I haven't. But sure have thought a lot about it today. I am not craving. And I'm not really missing anything. Just honestly, feeling tired of the whole 'thought process' vs the doing process. And then waiting out the week to see my results...as mine don't usually change much in a day... it's a long week to get to no results. Then another. Then another. Until I am so sick of thinking about it... I just want to get to goal, maintain, and live happily ever after! What's wrong w/ that? Just in a bit of funk I guess... will hopefully be more in the groove after my afternoon coffee. Later! Much Love.

I can understand that. I bet most of us have felt that at one time or another. Somedays it seems like all we do is focus on food when really we want to just sit back and enjoy. Every event has to be planned out and thought through.....on and on. You are doing great and will pass through this funk. For now, just sit back, breathe, and enjoy!!

I'm really not sure how eating pretty much no veggies is Atkins. The new version is 12-15 Net Carbs. Even the older versions was more than 1 cup of lettuce a day. More veggies = more weight loss.

hmmmmmm 1 cup lettuce 1.63 carbs 0.93 net carbs... yup old Atkins has that huge veggie carb count, I can see that............................

Amethyst - I do eat veggies. I just went on the 7 day meat/egg fast to see if I could break this 6 month stall, and get something moving. Typically, I count Total Carbs, and am very carb sensitive, however, I do eat a salad w/ my meat at lunch, and another salad, along w/ a veggie at dinner. I do not eat anything processed. And I do believe I am following Atkins (w/ the exception of the meat fast...which was on their website as a suggestion for breaking thru this stall.) I have tried adding more veggies during OWL - and some I find I can tolerate w/ no problem and others either stalled me out, or immediately gained during that week. I was very slow and meticulous during OWL, and learned a tremendous amount about what my body agrees with and what it doesn't. I would rather add more veggies, than - say nuts - although I know their nutritional value to me, they immediately cause a weight gain. Even the natural w/ no salt. So, I try to avoid them, except on the rare occasions. I never made it past the OWL additions of extra veggies, small portions of low fruits, some nuts/seeds (occasionally) and that is where my weight stalled out. If you have other suggestions, I would be more than happy to listen... I just wanted to explain my 'norm'. Thanks for the input.
