Deb_N's Journal, 08 December 2014

Hello, everyone! This is me again. I have been eating breakfast at noon. Lunch about 3:30 pm and dinner at 7 pm. Then nothing after dinner. No snacks except tea and sugar free gum. I thought I was eating minimally, but now I am wondering if I have been doing Intermittent Fasting and didn't even know it? :)

I wish everyone could feel how great I feel now, after I lost the weight. Remember the reasons you are doing it! Stick with it, keep going, you can do this!

Haha, Deb...I hate to be the one to ask you. Can you stop chewing gum. Please. Its so hard on the earth, and it all gets scraped and somehow makes it to the ocean. Its a product of oil, and it will stay us for the rest of our lives. http://recipes.howstuffworks.com/chewing-gum-trash.htm You must read for me. haha. I heard somewhere there is enough to go to Mars...Anyways. As long you go to bed "not hungry" is what I'm told. Doesn't have to be a meal. I go with a snack all the time. Usually something like cottage cheese. Or casein protein.

aaron, you need the after dinner snack. I'm glad that you are taking good care of yourself. I eat cottage cheese for breakfast. Thanks for the link about chewing gum. I will check it out! I may kick the gum habit and save my money. *smile*

Well I am feeling not to shabby, but still some ways to go...working hard at refraining from the holiday sweets...have to put the will power on overdrive..lol.......My problem is boredom, selecting different foods to eat..I find it very challenging...I seem to be eating the same old same old and it gets tired after awhile...thinking of buying Atkins cook book..any suggestion on that one or will I just be wasting my money... Knowing (You) someone who has succeeded and reached their goal is what keeps me going strong..I am so happy that I found you here Deb on this site because I know it can be done...You inspire a lot of people here..and I am a # 1 fan...lol Gum I don't do so not commenting on that...chew away girl...lol Thanks for your support...:)

It is soooo good to have you back, even if it's just for a while:) Thanks for posting the time periods that you eat.For some reason I couldn't come up with a way to help Keeper from packing on more pounds & help myself in the process but when I read what you wrote a little light bulb switched on!!! He usually isn't a breakfast eater but wants his coffee ,so moving our eating times to WHEN he is actually ALREADY eating should take away his wanting to/needing to graze at those times!!! OOOHHH I could (((HUG))) you! :)

I like that IF plan but for me I guess I started hibernating or something as the weight came back. I've returned to breakfast eating... hope that kickstarts the loss again.
