Tonight as I read my previous journals, I start to see a pattern that I do not like. I just want you all to know that I am not trying to complain, nor make excuses for my slip ups. I guess you can say that I have no right to say anything about my weight gain, because I am not trying my hardest. This is true, I am not trying my hardest. For the record I am also not looking for sympathy, I just see what I am doing to myself.
I have to say that in all honesty, I am happy with myself, and my weight. Don't get me wrong, I would love to lose some weight, but if I don't I am happy with that as well. What I have learned through this process is that I do watch what I eat and how much. I am more aware of my choices that I make, and know the effects of them.
Anyway, I will stop rambling on now, hope you all have a great weekend.

It's ok to complain, we all need some way to vent... Probably better we get it out on here than anywhere else! We all slip up, and it's ok. It's good to see where you've made mistakes and try to correct it, that's what I love about the journals and food tracking. It helps to see where you've been, and where you're going :) keep it up, we're all in this together!

it's good to vent sometimes, I do it all the time whenever I'm aware that I didn't choose correctly or just for lazyness I did not move a finger to exercise. :) Have a great weekend too

I feel a journal is a place where you can express your thoughts, moods, feelings, whatever.......a place to find your happy.

Agreed, pink rose, your journal is yours, choosing it to be public just means that you are open to support from the rest of us. Just a note to Sherri, I'm finding myself in a generally happier mood, stress doesn't seem affect me as much as I've lost weight, exercised, and feel this journey has made my outlook on life so much more positive.

As someone who is on the same path as you all I can say is well said. I have done the same so amen sister amen. This journey isn't easy and is a lot of hard work and a lot of slips for some of us and for me to know that others have the same troubles with it helps more than you know. So thank you for bearing you heart

It's your journal, so you are free to say what you like. We all go through the same things. Thanks for sharing. Your honesty is admirable! xoxo

If we were all perfect with our eating and working out, we wouldnt need to be here :D It's normal. Progress, not perfection........just keep at it.

That's the advantage to the journals, is that it allows us to see our patterns, and from there to know how and if we want to change those patterns. I certainly have not been trying my hardest of late. I'm on burn out, and don't know how to get myself past it. We're human. We're all trying here. And if someone wants to look down on you for it, it's their problem not yours. You keep doing what you need to do to be happy in your own skin.
