Second journal of the day.. this one without the whining. I've become cone shaped... but.. my rear end isn't nearly as big as I thought it would be at this point! Maybe all those days trudging around the gym were a good thing. Both this picture.. and a new theory that bouncing on the elliptical could put me into labor make me miss it more than ever. I should try to sell them on giving me a week for free because I'm pregnant.. and I would provide entertainment for everyone there. Plus I just got a new book and it seems wrong to read it sitting on a couch with my feet proped up on pillow. I should be sweating and glancing at my heartrate while I read.. not relaxing! Yes.. I'm a few marbles short of a full count. And yes this is probably a glimpse into the future of me on maternity leave.. rest? relax? take it easy??? what are those things? I should probably start shopping for straight jackets. Can you find straight jackets at Amazon? I wonder if they come with free shipping. I wonder how many people will search amazon for straight jackets now.

It is called mommy brain. It is our way of surviving child birth and our children. LOL, Enjoy the relaxing moments now before long they will be gone and chasing the little one around the house will be a new normal for you. BTW get as much sleep as you can now before long that will be another thing of the past. Good luck and God bless.

Did you see those children's straight jackets they advertised for a while? It was a marketing scheme to advert a new season of the Nanny but it was downright hilarious and revealing why *I* never had children because I was thinking 'seems legit'.

I already informed my future hubs that as soon as I find out I'm pregnant for the first time, I am allowing myself to go on a 9 month hibernation bed rest stint. Is this realistic? No, but a girl can dream!
