ChristyLA's Journal, 17 August 2014

My shorts kept sliding down today. Once, I was in a rush to go to the bathroom (sorry if TMI) and forgot to unbutton them first...they came right down. I didn't realize until after.

What a great thing. Really nice after not losing weight at my weigh-in yesterday. Just had to share :)

What was your last NSV?

Cause for celebration... Happy Dance kind of celebration!! My last best thing was being able to shop for some clothes in that non Plus side of the women's section.

Congratulations on your NSV, Christy! My most recent NSV is my armband pedometer which gets loose and starts to slide down my arm so I take it off and make it a tiny bit tighter by adjusting the velcro closure. I just measured it and the length of it is now 5 inches shorter. My bicep is smaller than nine months ago. :)

Isnt it an amazing feeling? I have finally gone under a weight which I jojo'd from for about a year. Yes, this time it worked! I think a lot of it has to do with stress, bad stress. Due to a big change in my life about a year ago, that part after five years of non stop stress is gone. My clothes are definetly looser and I am waiting for my pants to fall down..;)

yup and I have decided I'm not holding onto those clothes that don't fit anymore. I ALWAYS keep a variety of sizes for when I lose and gain and im not doing it anymore.. once I drop a size I toss it out... no excuse to go back.

Congrats, Christy! Makes you feel good. I'm like Kristyanne3 - it doesn't fit, it goes to the church thrift shop. No going back!

Kristyanne, I took the leap several months ago and donated of all of my clothes that were too big (except for one size larger than I am now), which were sizes from 14-24 and XL-3X. I had about 10 garbage bags full, lol. Someone else will enjoy them at least :)

You count every victory in the journey. The scale doesn't talk to us as often as we'd like, particularly telling us how much we've lost, so we keep track by how we feel, how our clothes are getting baggy, shoes too big, people noticing, etc. They're all victories to be counted.
