We all slip up from time to time, and you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You sound like you learned your lesson from the guilt trip you're putting yourself on, so let it go and take a deep breath! Take a few deep breaths!! Now, get back to the resolve. It's in the past, march on. I think you've done very well so far! But if you want some butt kicking ... lol. Just kidding! You have a goal to meet, so keep your eye on the prize ... which is that new svelte body of yours. Hug!

It's a done deal, you have done great. Don't let one slip up overshadow all that. :)

Ah... self-flagellation. Feel any better? I don't.

I love your reward idea! That's awesome. I think I might use that myself.

You're right, you didn't have a weak "moment" because it didn't take a "moment" to eat an entire box of chocolate. I'm going to be the ONLY one here to give you the crap you deserve. It had to take you a good, solid 10 minutes to wolf that box of chocolate. What I'd love to know is, what were you thinking? Not rhetorically, with my hands on my hips, "What WERE you thinking?" But literally: What thoughts were going through your head in that time you were eating that whole box? Were you thinking that you didn't care, that for those 10 minutes, it was worth it? Were you even aware that you were doing it once you started? It's NOT important to beat yourself up for this - what's critical is to prevent this from happening again. How come you had chocolate in the house in the first place? Is there anyone you can call in a crisis the next time you even CONSIDER doing that? If I give you my cell phone in California, would you text me? Or call me first? Okay, that's it, the beating is over. The lesson learned, I hope: Prevention, not punishment. Now get your @ss back to the gym and work it off. I'll meet you there.

P.S. Everyone should know that Puhpine and I are very good friends and that I am allowed to give her a hard time like this. She can take it. :)

I had a very stressful day today so my relapse was very understandable and i do forgive myself. I know it is no excuse. Will drag my fat ass into the gym tomorrow first thing, i promise Mrsmole (1am now here, gym closed) and i will swim for 1 hour after that and i will do my push ups ... what i was thinking: "I want to be left alone!!! God give me peace and quiet!!! i want to hide under a rock!!! i need vacation!!!" i took the chocolate willingly and knowingly and it was pure uncut comfortfood ... i should have taken a joint.
08 Jun 14 by member: puhpine
That joint would only make you hungry, LMBO!
08 Jun 14 by member: HtownMedicineWoman
Then I'll take the joint. I'm close to goal.
08 Jun 14 by member: ClassicRocker
I'll split it with CR so it'll be we can both split the bare of the burden!
08 Jun 14 by member: DarleneW101
I'm in for the pass....just to help bare the burden.

Loving this. Too funny. Anymore tokers.... I mean takers???
08 Jun 14 by member: ClassicRocker
LOL. Maud, thank you for the true confession. So it was a stress eating episode. Yes, next time, a few hits of the joint might have mellowed you a little. Even if you got the munchies a bit, the damage might not have been so bad. But seriously - stop keeping entire boxes of chocolate in your house if you can possibly help it. I mean, if you'd had a bag of carrots, it would be a very different conversation we'd be having now! LOL. It should be noted that Maud lives in Holland where Marijuana grown on trees next to the tulips (not really) and is widely accepted as legitimate medicine (yes, really). So get yourself to the gym and the pool. You will be back on track in a matter of a few days. I doubt you did more than 2-3 days damage. By Wednesday, you'll be back to normal.

Don't hate yourself...hate the damn chocolates....they are the enemy..not you!! Love your reward list...it did the same, but mostly in the form of shoes! Not long now and you are getting a 50 euro reward, I hope you plan to spend that on something special for yourself....and NO CHOCOLATES!!!!

I am disgusted with myself for last night's dinner too - don't know how I will be able to enter all the stuff I gobbled down!
09 Jun 14 by member: AilaOne
Maud, are you feeling ok? (((((cyber hug)))))
09 Jun 14 by member: Deb_N
Everyone has these "moments" totally normal. Thank you for sharing it lets me know I'm human and shouldn't be ashamed of myself. PS-the chocolates usually come after the joint! Hence why chocolates aren't aloud in my house! :)
