THIRTY-SOMETHING PERSONAL REASONS TO LOSE WEIGHT.

These are very personal reasons, you can or cannot find yourself in them! i promised to show you my motivational lists these days, and this is one of them. Tomorrow i'll show you my reward system.

v 1. I want my foot to heal again!
v 2. i don't want my kid being teased for having a fat mom.
v 3. i want to be a good example for my kid
. 4. i don't want to be "the fattest" in any given group of females.
. 5. i don't want no more insults about my weight (intentionally or not)
. 6. i want people to stop giving me advice i don't need.
v 7. i want my horse to be able to carry be without problems
v 8. a wife should weigh less than her husband.
v 9. i want my husband to be proud to walk beside me.
. 10. i want to look my age.
. 11. i want to shop for clothes without being send to the fat-corner.
. 12. i want to stop pitty-ing myself.
. 13. i want people to stop pitty-ing me
. 14. i dont want to gain weight even if i cannot lose anymore.
v 15. i want to jog, and say "look at me go"
v 16. i want the correctional underwear (all sizes my fat ass!) to fit and
. actually correct something.
v 17. i want to sit on normal chairs, with no pain from the arms or fear
. of breaking them.
. 18. i want people to admire me, and think i'm strong. i don't want
. people to prejudge me solely by my weight for being weak/slow
. /dumb/lazy/shy/prude and selfconsious.
. 19. i don't want to be turned down for anything because of my weight.
. 20. i want to know how low i can go...
. 21. i want to fit into certain clothes and boots. (for example there are
. no horseback-riding-boots in my calf-size)
v 22. i want to loose the dips and pimples.
v 23. i want to keep a steady and consistent bowl-movement.
. 24. i want to have clothes actually look nice on me.
. 25. i don't want to fear looking at pictures (of me, potentially)
v 26. i don't want to be ashamed getting a professional massage.
v 27. I don't want my mood being influenced by the scale
v 28. I want to use the trampoline at the gym
. 29. I want to be able to do a chinlift
v 30. I want to be able to keep up with everyone at the gym-classes
. 31. I want my BF% low enough to have corrective surgery.
. 32. I want to celebrate my 53th birthday with a tattoo covering the scars.

sport: restday
ch 1: restday
ch 3: dunno yet, maybe go jogging for a bit...

goal daily: have deficit of at least 825 kcals.
goal diet: 80.something before 18 Juli 2014
goal sport: 100 pushups before 13 September 2014

latest motivation: being able to do more push ups then my hubbie (14 vs 10) I have to be honest, his 10 where the initial test, i been doing it for two weeks now, so he'll catch up soon enough, but for now that is motivating!!

Almost cried after I read this post, until I got to the underwear one. Too funny and ironic. I had just received something I had ordered from a plus site that said one size fits all plus size but when I opened it, the skinniest model on a Japanese runway couldn't have worn the thing! They were called "biker shorts." No amount of stretching them would have helped them fit even the calf of my leg. I had ordered them to do at home exercises in, it was an exercise just trying to see how far they would stretch.

Dear Sweet Maud... many of my past issues are on your list. Knowing you, I believe in you 100% that you will accomplish this. I too just had my first massage around Christmas of last year and it was wonderful. I could go on and on, but your wishes, thoughts and dreams are like so many of us. Holding you in my heart wishing you all the success you want.

As you can tell, I loved your list. Don't worry, I don't pity myself, or knowingly allow others to do so either. I have enjoyed every barbecue, birthday celebration and holiday. I enjoy being alive! As a cancer survivor I feel that most acutely. However, I am doing this for the health of it and I would prefer not to be the fattest woman in a group.

You're doing well! I sat down a couple of years ago and wrote a "100 reasons to lose 100 pounds" list. I've lost 30 of them so far, will be working on the rest for as long as it takes. Hope you had a great Saturday!

Lots of creativity on this site. Very cool to put pen to paper and document the reasons to lose. It makes it real vs thinking "I'm going to change my eating habits and lose and exercise".

Loved it! I laughed pretty hard at you "latest motivation" and how you are beating your husband in the push-up challenge. While he may start to catch up, I have faith that you are going to get to that magic "100" mark. I, on the other hand, unintentionally got sucked into an impromptu push-up challenge with my dad and brothers while on vacation. I could hardly do ONE!!! You go girl!
