Happy Sunday my Buddies!

I have been on FatSecret for TWO years - and so proud of my consistent effort to be healthy!

I am feeling well today after a productive workout at
Orange Theory Fitness. Some days I have tons of energy; other days not so much. I am liking my pre-workout drink. It helps sustain my energy for the whole workout hour. Pre-workout drinks have some caffeine though so you have to titrate the amount so you do not get too "buzzy."

And, I drink a post-workout drink of branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) to replenish myself. Of course, it is followed by some PROTEIN. I am using a new protein powder that I am really liking, too. VitaSport is the brand and they sell it at NutriShops across the country. It is the first whey protein powder I have had that actually tastes good mixed with water.

I am working hard to continue the 130grams or more of protein per day without exceeding too many calories. It is a challenge sometimes because I also want to keep the fiber count up at least every other day. I keep playing with my RDI - seems too high now with too much eating! I might split the difference and try 1350 per day for a while.

So, it seems my focus is less about weight loss and more about my health and fitness! I suppose that is the best goal for me right now though I would really like to be down two more pant sizes.

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

I've heard about orange theory but know nothing about. I'd love to learn about it. Can you give me a breakdown?

It is heart rate monitored interval training in groups. The trainer personalizes for you if necessary; and it is treadmill (run or power walk), rowing machines, TRX straps and weight work. You can get a FREE class to try it out. Just google Orange Theory Fitness for your state.

Is the Vitasport something you just mix with water or can you mix it with other things? Congrats on your 2 year anniversary!
