Ugh! A sinus infection, but got to the Dr. yesterday & am on antibiotics, so should be feeling better soon. Until then, I'll do what I can with the rest of the holiday prep and what gets/doesn't get done is what this Christmas will be. And I'll begin by praying for much needed serenity --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And through this one day, & each one meal, moment, bite & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, log, post & express my way. I'm grateful for each of wonderful you, my family & IRL friends, my oldest who is trying his best to recover & so appreciative of all the help he needs to, my youngest who has been the go to for help for both us sickies, and my oldest's girlfriend who has also been a trouper & here helping too, plus of course knowing I have the wealth & will again soon have the health to live this life I love. xoxo
