Happy weekend, my friends!
I am doing very well with food the past couple of weeks. My quality of choices has improved, and I am off the wheat/high gluten train!
As I mentioned last week, my exercise protocol is poor. I could get back to my Jillian DVDs, or walk, or bicycle. I am just not really there yet.
The weather has been rain and lightening for three days with little pockets of sun. I have no excuse to not get my butt out there.
I exercised a little last weekend and it was good. Today, not feeling it yet.
So, maybe I need the Nike kick in the butt: JUST DO IT
Mission: Face the Exercise God/Goddess
Let's rock it together!
I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

I had to slowly ease back into it as well. Sounds like we are both feeling better - and one of these days will become motivated enough to get back into the exercise routine.

I hear ya. I've been keeping up with mt biking, but it's so much fun that it's easy to find the motivation to do it. But when it comes to resistance training... I'm totally been slacking! And boy oh boy, do I feel and see the difference. So, don't neglect your mawscles for too long!

Great to hear things are so well on the food front & I'm sure the exercise will follow. The trick for me has been to find an exercise/sport/activity that I really enjoy doing. Hope you find yours... & enjoy just doing it!

Sometimes you just gotta do it even when you don't want to. Way to go about the wheat and gluten train. While it may be tasty it's just not good for us. I bet the wheat they produced 100 years ago was way better for us.

Glad about the food front. That's about 80% of the battle, isn't it. Well done.

You've got the beginnings of your groove back. So now the exercise, well there are always the small steps you can take too. Doesn't need to be a long walk, but maybe just around your neighbourhood to check out what others have done with there front yard. Or instead of you regular DVD check something else out at the library that's more fun. Do some hip hop dancing! Just giving some ideas. Because you got to move it move it!! Lol. Take care your goals are closer then you think!!!

I agree with heather, if you can only attack one side of the equation, food will get you results faster than busting your butt in the gym. but you do need both so hit it!
