I picked up some Calvin Klein jeans off the big table at Costco, looked at the size 14 and realized they would be too big...bought the 12s. I think I could have fit into the 10s! Ok, now I know that I am not a size 10, but never in my dreams a year ago did I think I would be contemplating between a 10 and 12 right now. I picked up the 8s to help me visualize what I'm going to fit into in a few months.
Someone this week said to me, "Don't you miss having sweets and Mexican food and just indulging once in a while?" I have given that some thought, and I suppose that if I were around it a lot, or really let my mind go there, I would miss it. But the truth is, I don't. I love this new thinner me. I don't know if I have ever accomplished anything this exciting!
Tonight is a huge milestone in my job. I will attend a school board meeting, they will approve the contract I have presented to them, and then the company I work for, NoDropouts.com, will get to work helping Arizona kids get back in school and have a chance at a good life. It's a milestone, because I started this job in July, and finally have my first contract, and I am thrilled!
