Up down up down up down up....geez. However, clothes are getting looser. Not a lot, but they are just fitting better. I want a lot. I want the 12s and 14s to fall off. I want to wear a beautiful size 8 dress to my daughter's wedding next summer. I want to buy it in March, and have it FIT in March. And it's not going to be some frumpy frilly Mother-of-the-bride dress, it's going to be gorgeous. My daughter is stunning, so she will outshine everyone there, as it should be. An outdoor wedding in the hills east of downtown San Diego in July, how can you top that?

I'm rambling on this morning, no particular thoughts going on except that I just want this weight off. I don't cheat, I keep my calories very low, this is just so slow it's making me crazy. Not crazy, as in, "I might as well give up" crazy, I am nowhere close to that, but I need to do something different. I added more protein in the morning, that's not working, I cut out fruit after noon, not working, I never ever eat grains, not working. Well, I guess all of that really is working, just not as quickly as I want. I've gone from losing 12 lbs a month to 5 pounds a month. If I'm going to hit my goal by March, I'd better speed it up.

*What the heck? TOM is back, left me for 10 months and now that I have a man in my life and potential for you-know-what, it's back. I'm 54, TOM, check the calendar!
192.8 lb Lost so far: 54.8 lb.    Still to go: 28.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

First of all... 5 lbs a month simply means... it's all fat you are losing... and it is working. You will be in a sexy size 8 for the wedding... just keep doing what you are doing. You are building up muscle while losing fat. This is a GOOD thing. Have patience grasshoppa' cause you are doing a brilliant job! Hugs!

perhaps the TOM fluctuations is causing the weight to bounce around. I have faith you'll be an 8 by March :)

I have a new diet plan - when I finally find a job and get moved somewhere larger, I am going to be so poor. I will only eat when a man takes me out on a date. I will get skinny fast eating once or twice a month! lol.

Uggggh-TOM is back--what rotten timing! Send him packing ;) It's probably his fault you gained. Don't despair you are doing things right, and it will eventually show on the scale.

Oh Jess..fabulous plan, I see a few weak spots, but overall, it should work. Don't you wish this worked like Facebook, where we could get notified when someone responds to something we wrote?
