HCB's Journal, 04 September 2012

Food easily is back on track the last three days; exercise not quite yet.

I still feel fatigued after what was expected to be a restful vacation...but instead, it was somewhat stressful at times. We spent too much time in the car, and not enough time in activities. This created a bit of tension since my friend's spouse insisted he do all the driving - and all under the speed limit! It took us extra time to arrive places and seemed like we went right to dinner and the hotel most days!

Grateful for:

- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue
- "Butt-kicking" myself to a smaller size today
- My DH - who is my greatest "cheerleader"
- My Bengal cat companions named Bodhi and Ravi
- My work - which has meaning and worth to other human beings
- My connection to the Mother Earth and its entire splendor
- My physical health

Traveling with another couple presents an understandable challenge. It is great that you can remain friends with your pal in the driver's seat all the way. great to be home - huh! Once again - terrific atitude!

It has been my experience that for every day you are inactive it takes 2 days to recover. You'll get back up to speed in no time.

Look at you!! On vacation and still lost. WTG! I give you a lot of credit for not killing the driver. I'm a horrible passenger. I either hang on for dear life or get cranky from being in the car for too long. Glad that you're home.
