Agian, been a while, AWOL. I'm still taking PT, and had my eval by both my physician and my PT. My ankle is still 50% lager than the other, although I generally have no pain while walking. My back is still giving me a fit. Friday and Saturday I could barely ride in a car. I really don't know what the future holds. I'm having issues at T-5 & L-5. I'm fearful of the scale, haven't been there for weeks. Kinda down.

I'm really sorry you are in pain. I had two back surgeries so I umderstand that pain. Hopefully you can get some PT for it and maybe an MRI if PT doesnt help. I know you are sealimg with the ankle right now. Sending good thoughts.

Healing can take so long and it's hard to stay positive sometimes, especially when you're an on the go kind of person who likes being active. Take care, keep doing why the docs say, and healing will happen, it's just going to take time. Try to stay positive and best of luck to you!

Just focus on healing and getting stronger. The scale can be sorted out later. Hope you feel better soon!.

So hard to recover from an accident! I had someone step on my foot and break my toe. It was difficult to follow the doctor's recommendations when all I wanted was to be better already. Have had back issues since college - take care of yourself, eat well and don't stress about your weight.

Meant to say "try to not stress" because it isn't easy doing "nothing"

So sorry this is taking so long to heal! I know it's frustrating and hard to stay positive at times. Just focus on eating the way you know works and don't worry about the scale right now. Focus on healing, the scale will come later. Back pain is THE worst! I injured my back, ever so slightly, last year. I still have not recovered full range of motion, but it is much better. Some days it still hurts more than others, depending on my activity. So it does take a long time to heal. Prayers continue for healing and for your emotional well-being.

I sympathize! I had sciatica last month - any sudden movement hurt, and driving home from work every night would set me to moaning. I finally found stretches that helped, went back to walking at lunch, long hot baths, and took magnesium citrate. Not sure if the last helped, but the pain finally subsided.

I'm utterly overwhelmed by the generosity of empathy poured out by so many strangers. It is truly encouraging. I will check in every few days to see how everyone else is doing. Glad to hear Do N OK got his stitches out. Y'all be good, and remember don't take life too serious, no one gets out alive. We only get on go-around, make it count, and make it a long one to boot.

Give ‘er hell. You’ll get back on track in no time. Fast fat gain is quickly lost. I would be brazen and suggest you double down on nutrition. It will speed healing and offer higher integrity of connective tissue. Example, order some Chlorella tablets and down 2 servings a day. Or High quality green drink in addition the your normal green salads. Bone 🍖 broth. The collagen and calcium are easily absorbed and give maximum benefit to healing. Whew, what a mess, eh? Be very cautious about re-injuring. I’ve taken years to re-heal parts from idiotic hiking and ATV bang ups. I’m not there yet, but overload nutrition really has an impact. Yeah, give ‘er hell!
