So sorry to hear about your loss...hoping each day forward is easier. 

Sorry to hear that I feel your pain. My family dog passed away last month. It's been a year since I have been home due to work and I was pretty upset when I found out as we raised him since he was a pup plus it was the first dog of the family. Yeah I was one of those PPL that would say it's just a dog come on. But we get attached to them and they become part of the family. As Gwen said hope it gets easier as the days go by .  

I understand your pain. I put my first dog to sleep 2 years ago, he was 15.5 yr old... still miss him today. 

Give it time and be grateful that you were able to have such a loving creature share part of your life. I can understand. I put my dog down 2 years ago. I still feel sad when I think about him. But it get easier. God Bless!

Thank you everyone. I missed her little face greeting me this morning. I've always had pets, and it never gets easier when they have to leave. My heart is broken this morning, but I have to go on, because I'm not dead yet. I will clean the house and do work around here. De-cluttering and cleaning is sort of therapeutic for me. I have to stop rehashing her last moments in my head, or it will create mental havoc. I got down an Atkins shake this morning, that's it. I'll try to eat something a little later. Thanks again. 

Sending healing vibes. Yes, they are our children and the loss is traumatic. Be well.  

So sorry to hear about your baby!! I lost mine last Halloween, he was 15.

There is love and compassion in the world for you. Losing one of our faithful companions is heart wrenching, but Creena would want you to soldier on with your plan to become healthy. Stay the course and even when we don't understand the why and how of things, there is comfort in knowing that many have suffered your pain and are with you. 

Sorry to hear about your doggie passing. I know for many they truly are like members of the family. And hey, if you don't feel like eating, that's ok too. A little intermittent fasting does a body good!

I am so so sorry for your loss. 

So sorry for your loss and understand your pain. I am also am emotional starver, and didn't eat for a couple of days when we lost a beloved dog several years ago. Praying for healing and peace for you.

I picture my dogs that have transitioned, as still with me, just in a different form. Love goes on.
