Happy New Week, my Best Buddies!

I start my weekly gym count on Fridays and just completed my third workout this morning! And, I did two days in a row for the first time with the foot boot. I hope to go Wednesday to complete four for the week - not bad with a foot boot!

Today as I was measuring my breakfast foods, I thought about the extreme importance of the "Tools of the Trade" of weight loss. If you are not measuring, you are likely eating too much! See my tools!

A good reminder. I've been doing too much guesstimating.

It's amazing to me how easy it is to over eat if I don't measure. I think that sometimes I drive my hubby nuts, but oh well.

I've added 2 servings of almond butter every day for a snack. If I have celery I use that to scoop it out of the jar, if not, it's just a spoon. I put the jar on the scale and keep eating until it reads "-64g". Now that I've got a steady influx of almond butter, I don't feel the need to snitch and binge on it. Everyday I get two servings, it's been enough to feed the tiger and get it back in the cage... MEASURE ALL THE THINGS!

I guesstimate, too, but if anything I record more than I actually consume. My stomach capacity is really pitiful these days.
