Not been a good evening......stress/emotional binge eating......

Stop! Collect yourself and find something to do (people don't usually snack and read a book as they would while watching tv). Don't feed the stress monster.

Pamper yourself - take a bath or a long shower. Paint your nails. It's hard to snack when they are wet!

Someone gave me this idea years ago! It really takes the edge off when you get that "I wanna binge" feeling. Good Earth Sweet & Spicy tea with liquid stevia as sweet as you can take added to it. Hang in there!

My way of dealing with "I wanna binge", I go internet surfing and u clean forget that you want to eat!!!! lol

When I'm bored and internet surf I go find articles or videos on the largest people that ever lived...BOOM, I'm definitely not hungry anymore!

LuC2, I totally did that the other day while riding my bike. It definitely puts things in perspective. You should search 'woman with 7ft wide butt'. Gotta admire her confidence.

I saw her. She is so young and has small kids. So small up top compared to bottom...just all hips and bottom. I know she did a lot of it to herself but I REALLY felt bad for her and hope that she can/will do something about it.

I've read the comments on this subject and will again suggest that you get the book from Geneen Roth on "Breaking Free From Emotional Eating" because not only does she speak on her personal battle but gives tools to work through it.
