I'm a sixteen year old student from Belgium. I just adore sport, I couldn't last a week, no 2 days without some exercice. Kayaking is my main hobby, but I go to the gym a lot, and I also like to make long walks.
But that doesn't mean I've always been skinny. I also love to eat. I used to weigh 72 kg. But one day I was able to say, ENOUGH! Now I'm trying to keep my weight and enjoy healthier food. I keep sporting like I used to, even more! If I fancy some candy, I am able to enjoy it longer, and not more from it.
If people need help, I would always like to help them.

It's hard doing this alone
I don't know if you're a sweettooth or not, but maybe you can try to lessen the candy, eat more fruit and vegetables, and just eat the same food and dishes you normally eat, just smaller sizes. Oh , and try drinking more water.
Sometimes it will be hard, when you see your friends eat or drink something you want too, but after a while, it'll be a lot easier to say NO! to certain things.
a little extra exercice is always good. why don't you ask your friends to go for a walk or a bicycling trip or something. just so you burn the calories you take in by eating.
