Well yesterday I worked hard all day on tank maintenance. I have been putting it off for a long time and mainly because it is so physically hard on me. Up and down a step ladder to clean the tanks, a zillion squats to physically clean the filters outside with the hose. I managed to clean 40 filters yesterday and this morning my legs were screaming at me. I was so tired that a 1/2 hour energy just did not cut it, I had to take the whole thing and I still have the rest of the day!
so much for my day off of exercise! today is supposed to be my heavy workout day and I don't know if I will be doing it. I got off my butt this morning and while I was cleaning my tanks I got another 1/3 of my sponges cleaned. the legs were screaming but also got stretched in the process. I may not have the energy to finish my regular water changes today. I will decide after I lay on the heat pack for a while.

I ate over my RDI yesterday and I wasn't the slightest concerned as I know I needed them after the work I did all day. heck this morning I woke up and was so hungry I could not even think of waiting to eat. all morning from 4am to 9;30 been actively cleaning the tanks and filters doing all those squats, so I probably already burned off what I ate this morning.

I am still pretty congested from the foods I ate last weekend and the coffee, the coffee alone tends to set off the congestion and the cheese just seals the deal. I am guessing it will be another week before it clears. makes things just a tad harder with the breathing.

I planned not to work out today but I ended up with a bad histamine reaction to leftover beef so this afternoon I decided to work. maybe tomarrow I will have my day of rest. I did readings today but they could be off because of this response so I am stopping poking my finger. had enough. after my 5 hour it was fine 2 couple hours later but when I had more it dropped but I also had some food in me. which I had the reaction to. It may have a lesser effect if I don't eat though. which has been hard lately to even wait until 5am. woke up early again but decent time 3am. almost felt like a cramp which is something I thought was gone or at least faded away. Yesterday I felt like salt and did not take it, so today I did, maybe I wasn't listening so my calves gave me a wake up call. LOL!
I ran to sam's club to pick up a roast and ended up feeling weak and almost dizzy. like a low glucose reaction. it was really odd. lost my car for a while too. but I got my regular rib eyes and hoping they did not pick up anything to cause me a problem when he was cutting it. I may have to invest in a good knife to cut my own! hoping for a better day tomarrow

starting my new week out. yesterday was high fat so that helped to jumpstart things for me unfortunately I did wake up early and naturally I had coffee to help keep me awake and going today. I forgot to test fasting but a hour after coffee my ketones were still in a reasonable level. 1.3k and 3.9 glucose. so knowing it drops the ketones and rises the glucose my levels were pretty good this morning. I had another cup of coffee to futher test things a couple hours later and 1 hour after that I was still in range, 1.3k 3.8 glucose. I ate a little after that a smaller amount of steak than usual and ate more of the fat and left some of the meat. one hour after eating my ketone was 1.3 and 4.2g .3 hour after eating my ketone dropped into the low zone .8K and 4.7g. the protein took a while to drop the ketone but I also exercised and tested right after that. it may be a factor. tomarrow I am taking a day off so I will check that also going to use the 5 hour instead of coffee if I am good! 5 hours after eating and the exercise things went great 2k and 3.8g. only problem is I was hungry, I did a second set of exercise to dull my appetite and by 2pm I just had to eat. fortunately 2 eggs in a pat of butter did little to mess with the ketones and glucose 2.k and 4.2 on glucose. 160 calories versus around 560 for breakfast. this is all going to be a learning experience for me to try to stay in a fat loss mode without dieting. I may have to break down and stay to maintenance level and just use my exercise to slowly slim down. I just do not want to drop my calories down again. hope everyone is having a great day. lots of weight loss this past weekend

after a bad weight week I decided I needed a break this weekend. I broke my normal woe and we went out to dinner for a change. my husband misses taking me out and it was nice to splurge. we went to Longhorn and I got the parmesan crusted chicken without the bread crumbs and I had a little salad with my favorite dressing. I am dairy intolerant so I am paying for it with gas and weight gain, but it was worth it. this morning I feel much brighter mood wise. The weight will come off quickly enough. I will most likely have pan taco today to round out the dairy fix. LOL! My husband makes a mean pan taco with no shell, we both enjoy it.

even though I stayed well under my maintenance RDI yesterday and the day before I gained this happens when I have food that I have food sensitivities to. I had coffee too! so starting Monday I will get back to normal. I will be keeping my fat percentage up higher than the lean I attempted this week with bad results. Ribeyes are KING in my eyes! Have to restock my supply once I eat the last of the leaner t bones.
