Well yesterday I worked hard all day on tank maintenance. I have been putting it off for a long time and mainly because it is so physically hard on me. Up and down a step ladder to clean the tanks, a zillion squats to physically clean the filters outside with the hose. I managed to clean 40 filters yesterday and this morning my legs were screaming at me. I was so tired that a 1/2 hour energy just did not cut it, I had to take the whole thing and I still have the rest of the day!
so much for my day off of exercise! today is supposed to be my heavy workout day and I don't know if I will be doing it. I got off my butt this morning and while I was cleaning my tanks I got another 1/3 of my sponges cleaned. the legs were screaming but also got stretched in the process. I may not have the energy to finish my regular water changes today. I will decide after I lay on the heat pack for a while.

I ate over my RDI yesterday and I wasn't the slightest concerned as I know I needed them after the work I did all day. heck this morning I woke up and was so hungry I could not even think of waiting to eat. all morning from 4am to 9;30 been actively cleaning the tanks and filters doing all those squats, so I probably already burned off what I ate this morning.

I am still pretty congested from the foods I ate last weekend and the coffee, the coffee alone tends to set off the congestion and the cheese just seals the deal. I am guessing it will be another week before it clears. makes things just a tad harder with the breathing.

Bless your little heart and hammys and thighs, he he he. Don't over do it. Trust me I'm over 50 and feel every single year of it.

Wow I’m tired just reading about all you got done! I’d say you already got your workout and taking a day off from the official workout won’t hurt anything. Just make sure to keep stretching so you don’t stiffen up as much.

thanks from 371 and when things get tough the tough keep going. I layed down on the heat pack an hour, got a long hot shower and finished the breeding room. only 12 filters but at least now I have two rooms done! 2 more to do. but they will be much less work and most likely be waiting a couple more days.

Man, that sounds like leg day X10!! Hope you are feeling better after some rest. If the heat doesn't take care of it, you could also try ice.

I used to work for a snake breeder so I know EXACTLY what you mean about how much hard work it is to keep up with animals! You definitely needed the extra calories - hope you feel better from your food reactions that keep lingering.

thanks socalpam but I had more to do and I did get 2 rooms done. did not get to the rest of the water changes but at least tomarrow I can take a break from cleaning the filters only have two smaller rooms to do next and they will wait!

Ha Keilan my day off was yesterday and I know I burned more calories cleaning than I do exercising. I bet you do too!

I am becoming addicted to my exercise, today it's a tough day, I want to exercise, but I know that I should let my body to rest too
