exercise diary??
haha, I do the same thing - work in an office and count my 8 or so hours of sitting at my desk in my exercise journal - work once a week at a bar too, so I too count the amount of time that I spend standing and walking around towards it as well.
You are right, it does make you feel good at the end of the day!

So, roxchick83, hope you have more luck with it Smile

exercise diary??
Resting and Sleeping count as exercise... so you may not have done any ACTUAL exercise, but daily activities still burn calories too. Maybe just change the amount of sleep you've had today to match the actual amount of sleep you've had and then it'll be more accurate.

The exercise diary is used to input all activities you do in a day - this includes *real* exercise and whatever your normal activities in a day would include (driving, walking, sitting, whatever!). The amount you burn in a day is weighed against the amount of calories you consume (in the food diary) and then you get a net gain/loss of calories per day.

Weight Watcher points
I did notice a difference in the points calculated here as well. So now I use this site as more of an approximation/guideline, so not only do I watch my points consumption, but also my calories/fat intake as well.

Suggested improvements I
Ability to report weekly and monthly graphs - I would LOVE to have this ability as well!

It would be cool to just present the diet calendar in a graph too (a line graph?) that will display the calories consumed vs calories burned each day. Or something like that.

how much can i eat?????
I feel the same way, especially about chocolate. To try to get around it, I try to set myself mini-goals throughout the day if I find I want to snack on something - I'll say, ok, lets see if I can make it another hour without eating whatever it was, then when that goes by, I say to myself "see, you did it!", and somehow I'm able to move past it.

But, I do cheat occasionally and if I've eaten SUPER healthy all week, I'll let myself have something 'naughty' like a piece of chocolate, especially around 'pms' time. I don't think there's anything wrong with cheating a little, as long as you plan it out ahead of time and can compensate for it (like stay at the gym longer)
