I did not do well today with food. I have had a terrible craving for anything I can shove in my mouth. Mainly chocolate. I get so sick of hearing about things that are supposed to make you feel full. I am not hungry when I eat all this junk, I just want to eat. How the hell do you get past that????? Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I have to work all day, and that is a good thing. I eat better when I am at work and get home late. Gosh, I wish I could just stop all the impulsive eating.

You might be PMS'ing? I know I get terrible chocolate cravings when I am. What helps me is to Drink a cup of Hot water every hour & increase what I eat to every 2 hours.

Try and figure out if there are any subconscious reasons that are making you want to eat like this [i.e., Are you stressed?, relaxed?, bored?...] Also, revise your eating plan with your nutritionist or doctor to ensure that it's properly balanced for your own personal needs because some people need one type of food more than other people might.

I feel the same way, especially about chocolate. To try to get around it, I try to set myself mini-goals throughout the day if I find I want to snack on something - I'll say, ok, lets see if I can make it another hour without eating whatever it was, then when that goes by, I say to myself "see, you did it!", and somehow I'm able to move past it.

But, I do cheat occasionally and if I've eaten SUPER healthy all week, I'll let myself have something 'naughty' like a piece of chocolate, especially around 'pms' time. I don't think there's anything wrong with cheating a little, as long as you plan it out ahead of time and can compensate for it (like stay at the gym longer)

I know how you feel. I purchased a box of the weight watchers carrot cakes and ate the whole box. Needless to say I was ill the rest of the night and my points evened out. However i have leared that I am just keeping to ff yogurts, sugarfree puddings and jello for dessert for now. no more purchasing cakes!! Smile erin
