I'm a 42 year old, sedentary office worker. I started my FS journey on April 28, 2011. I achieved my goal weight on March 17, 2012. I'm now on maintenance and I feel like the hard work is now just starting.

I enjoy soccer, hot yoga, swimming, running, hiking, and walking. I'm gluten, egg, dairy, corn and cane sugar, and caffeine free. I eat mostly whole foods and enjoy a pretty clean life style.

I can't figure it out!
I don't think you're not giving it enough time. You just joined 10 days ago. It helps if you only weigh-in once a week - same time of day wearing same clothes, etc. You'll lose weight over time. Usually 1-2 pounds a week. If you weigh everyday, you might get frustrated due to regular weight fluctuations due to lack of sleep, PMS, sodium, if you've pooped...

Also, if you ask for help from the forums, it helps if you tell us your current weight, height and if you share your diet calendar. That way the people who are helping can make a more educated guess as to what may be going on.

Boston Marathon
I know that this sounds strange, but after this happened I want to run a marathon. It's always been something that has slightly tickled by brain, but now I'm resolved to do it. I don't think I'll be running the Boston, but I'll definitely be looking into one closer to home.
