Hello all :) I have been following weight watchers for a little over two weeks now. I have lost a total of 5 lbs :) I signed up for this yesterday because I recently stopped journaling and I hope this website will keep me on track. Good luck to everyone who is trying and is losing weight! its a struggle, but a well worth one. I love this site!!
I havent worked out yet but I will soon :P

Unsupportive Boyfriend.... sigh.
Your boyfriend may be scared. Might be scared he'd lose you after you lost some weight. But what you have to remember.. is that this is a lifestyle change for YOU. It takes some overweight people SO LONG to decide to focus, go to the gym, eat better and everything else that comes with it. You should be so proud of yourself that you are doing this and continuing it! Tell your boyfriend this change is going to continue whether he likes it or not.
I myself have trouble taking compliments. That is one sucker that is hard to overcome. You know what ends up happening? Those people no longer want to compliment you because they know your gonna bitch or moan about something. Take the compliment, they are designed for us to feel GOOD about ourselves. Im still learning!
I agree with whoever said go to the gym separately if you must. You know you need to work out more and to have someone hounding you about leaving is annoying. Maybe you feel up to taking a class and you cant, cuz your not alone or they want to leave.
Also remember this- when you eat better and excersize, your attitude improves. That leads to all sorts of happy things. Happier life, more smiles, Nicer fitting clothes, looking in the mirror and being pleased, possible better jobs... the possiblilities are endless. Not to mention you will take those compliments because you know they are all true!
So way to go on your efforts!
