I don't like posting weight increases, so although I weigh myself daily so I know what's going on, I don't usually post unless I've gone down. If I show an increase I work hard the next 2 or 3 days to get back down. Weight fluctuates and I just don't like seeing the "up" figures in writing. I'll post today, I'm finally over the results of having people over for wine and cheese (and nuts and meatballs!)

its ok, you should see my scale... started working out, eating healthier and the weight goes up and down like crazy. i'll start weighing more seriously now, only in the morning instead of random times through the day. today i was 79-81 kg, talk about crazy numbers there.

Even though I know the weight loss ups and downs but I almost didn't want to post my weight this morning. Ugh, I'm not sure how much longer am I going to get stuck in the 140s. Still waiting for my shoulder to heal so very little physical activity for me lately other than walking, yoga, and abs exercises. I don't want to push myself when I'm not completely healed. I'm also losing motivation and had been trying different macros to see if anything help. I guess carbs are my enemy. Maybe going back to Keto and IF. I really want to reach my goal by the end of this month! Thanks everyone. I can do this! :-)

Can you run? I started running when I lost 40 pounds years ago. Didn't start until I was down about 30 and the remaining pounds came off pretty easily. I couldn't run to start with. I just tried and would run for 50 steps. Next day I got up to 100. And kept going like that. Once I was running 600 steps I could just keep going. I learned it was all about the breathing when I ran. I would run 4 miles at least 5 times a week, sometimes every day.

Wow, 4 miles 5X/week is very impressive! I ran a 5k two years ago in 38 minutes. Not the best but I was able to finish the race. I ran on and off last year when I was about 40 lbs heavier with no issues. I just don't know what happened to my knees this year, I can run but the next day they hurt like hell. I can still speed walk but it's not the same as running. I enjoy Les Mill Combat and Body Pump very much but since I hurt my shoulder during weight training, now I'm just waiting for it to heal so I can start again. I didn't run at all this year because of bad knees. I wonder if indoor treadmill running will work for me :-(

Did you have your shoulder checked out? I'm not a big fan of the medical system, but I would want to be on top of that injury in case it's a rotor cuff injury.

I can't really run on the treadmill, need a dirt trail otherwise my legs and knees hurt. I think I used to take about 43 minutes to run 4 miles. There was a trail just 3 houses from my house and the trail went around a lake. They ran a half marathon on it every year. I wrote down the time everytime I ran and they were all within just a few seconds of each other. I just set a pace and continued. I tried a couple times to increase my stride to see if I could run faster but I'd always end up taker longer than normal because the longer strides would make me tired. I did a 5K once-probably 15 years ago and finished in the middle of the pack. Kept my normal pace, it seemed easy because I was used to 4 miles. I doubt I'll run anymore, I'm 62 and knees and legs start hurting when I try. But I'm determined to hike again. Walking on hills seems to really be helping me.

Thsiun and Fritzy, two good knee friendly cardio work outs are the elliptical and bike. I have no miniscus in my right knee since 1997 (osteoarthritis also now) and can manage keeping the knee and leg strong with these two methods. I can run, but only once in a long while, bone on bone and the running motion are a bad combo...swimming could work too if you have easy access to a pool (I don't).
