** WEIGHT FLUCTUATIONS/PLATEAUS EXPLAINED **

Hey! Don't skip this one! This is for you, so read it and stop getting frustrated with your weight!

"You know…when your macros are on point…you’re doing plenty of exercise…you’re accurately estimating energy expenditure…and you’re not bingeing yourself back to square zero every Saturday…

…and you’re still seeing the same dismal sight in the mirror and on the scale every week.

Well, if you’re stuck in such a predicament, don’t do what most people do: exercise more and eat less. It’ll just make things worse."

good article, I have personally never visually seen the whoosh effect in the mirror but I have lost water weight.

More people need to get high on the science. Nice share!

You been trying to find out why I lose after 5k days 😂

Actually, there is such a thing as too much water. More than one person has died from water intoxication.

I've definitely experienced the whoosh effect, lol, I've seen it on my belt notches. It's a great feeling. Love the science aspect to all of this.

Dang it! That’s why I’m not losing much. I’m binging back to zero every Saturday! (Haha I’m only HALF joking 😳. Wish I could’ve started this on the weekend as I eat less during the week.)

The Obesity code and many other books sold by charlatans are prime examples. Yes, I went there. I've relaxed on posting on journals since some people can't be reasoned with. They'd rather disregard science and metabolic Ward studies in favor of theories. ☹️ It's a viscuous cycle they are in but I can't help the stubborn. It didn't take long to change my mind when I first learned it's CICO. I was all for it lol

I know so much ignorance does get to me at times. 😭

So sad how some instead of trying to better their woe are simple learning to binge every other week

Due to such crazy weight loss fixes 😢

I don’t understand how they don’t realize that’s not healthy 😔

From what I’ve read, a lot of fad diets claim to be healthy. Even one of my drs said Keto and Atkins were healthy... to a point. My oncologist tries to get me to be vegetarian basically and I don’t believe that’s healthy either. At least for me. I don’t eat beans of any kind if I can help it and half the veggies are just gross lol. I get that a lot of carbs aren’t that healthy (refined sugars and such), but sometimes we have to use common sense and have it all in moderation. Oh and hubby went on the medifast diet twice. Our dr said it was fine for a month at a time, no more than twice in that year. Hubby was weak, tired, lost most of it in his arms and legs and still had the belly fat after. $300+ per time and he’s only kept 30# off total. 15 from those diets and 15 now from just lifting weights 5 days most weeks. Nobody wants to hear that it takes more than changing your foods. It takes work!

Yep, I love them. The most accurate method of figuring out how it all works. Of course, we can't rely on a ward in our day to day so we have to find what we can all stick to.

Actually before I had deaf ears

Anytime someone would talk about any healthy foods or whatever I would excuse myself
30 Oct 18 by member: rosio19
I never bother to listen 👂 or research on my own
30 Oct 18 by member: rosio19
I’m soooo glad I never listen to anyone 🙌🏼😏
