Ok finally I did the body fat percentage machine, the trainer said it can be 2-3% percent off.... well I’m at 20.6 % body fat
Anyone know if that’s good or ok?

One site says 14 to 20% is athletes and 21% to 24% is fitness, 25 to 31% is average for women of course. I would say that it is excellent!

I know that it is not my case as I really need to tone my muscles but hopefully for most it falls into place! I can do cardio for a long time but when it comes to picking up weights I'm lazy!

Weights is what really makes a difference in ur body, cardio is for health.

What I've witnessed from the from the gym these early 20yr old tone looking girls are registereing in at 12 to 16 fat%'s

Only true test is by body displacement testing. No matter the test, below 20% is a great place to be though.

For women of child-bearing age, that is excellent for health. It may not be fashionable, but your health markers will be at their best between 10% and 20%. Less than 10% makes you infertile, because your body thinks you are starving. Aim for what makes you comfortable with yourself.

For women between 20 and 40 years old, recommended fat percentage is between 20 and 25% Under 20% is usually considered under weight.

I would recommend resistance training more than cardio. It will help build muscle faster and give you a more lean look.

Murph, I would think that would indicate extremely thin women. Body fat for women 25 to 31% they say is in the average range yet the normal range BMI is under 25%. Whatever you are doing Rosio is great!

Charlotte, My observation wasn't the end all like your trying to insist..This group of young women weren't drastically under weight they with bone protruding,hahaha like l said they well toned filled in young woman and Rosio was wondering where she was in the scheme of Life and where have you been I've given Rosio lots of complaints on her looks several times..she knows Murhthesurf.hahaha were you around about 2wks ago when l started this rave review of her full length picture of her posing outside,she got many many and she was very very Happy.Rosio needs no defense she knows we all love her.

I think the body building people are the ones with lower than 14% But like 12% fat is essential for women

Murph, I just based my reply on the fact that my essential body fat and the site that I am looking at says 13% puts my weight at 82 pounds. I am very short, 5 feet one and half. My body fat is way higher than Rosio's, as a matter of fact I wish I was at 20%. I like to see success stories and I'm really happy for people, it's great when they post as they can really inspire people. I know that you mean well and that you have a great sense of humor!

@Charlotte, Come think about it this group cross train's doing weight's,etc.and does swim's for competition, that would explain the lean look.You know gyms are everybody knows everybody, trainers and clients alike. Beautiful well kept pool used for local,state and Olympic meets.The bld.has this very long set of viewing windows and part of the gym has a very good view of the pool.makes it hard to pump the sometimes. hahaha but learned one size doesn't fit all there's always the exception. LOL

I post so much. I don’t know what u talking about...but yes again I don’t take this numbers seriously...the way I look is way more important than a number given to me by a machine sugartits69
