The lowest amount of calories I ate was 1450 calories a day... now I’m trying to eat 1800 but I tend to end up at 1600. I truly believe my stomach has shrunk cause I get full with 1600 calories

Now I’m struggling with eating 1800 calories, cause I get full n cause I’m afraid to gain. So I’m in that stage now. Loosing weight is the beginning. My journey has just begun 😉

I'm with you! Transitioning upon reaching the goal, transitioning to a maintenance life, has always been terrifying for me. I'm better at losing the weight than finding equilibrium. I wish there was as much focus and advice and support out there for goal-reachers!!! You are amazing, and it is super smart for you to keep counting, keep counting...stay with the 1600 and watch your body's signals! Journal how you feel, now more than ever! MINI adjustments; occasional adjustments that serve to point incrementally toward every kind of sustainability...sustainable sleep, sustainable calories, sustainable activity. Don't let go of your buddy, which is the structure you made to get here. Stay with yourself and let IT be the ballast of your life. My own trouble came 2 ways: The first was life demands could get so intense that I felt I did not have the luxury or energy left to focus on my self, so I'd eat extra for the stability of a constant blood sugar "fortress wall" so I could cope with outward demands. And my weight shifted back to reflect that way of being. Other times I would emotionally "cocoon", and ignore or avoid my body from the neck down, Again, my weight shifted to reflect that way of being. It always will. The point is, don't consider yourself so exhausted from the calorie counting, to being done with it. It was your buddy that got you here, and still is your buddy. Don't "end your program", or the structure you created. Just shift the number of calories a bit , like you are doing, and enjoy what fills those calories, care for yourself, stabilize while STAYING in the structure. Ending the structure and finding equilibrium all at the same time is too much. It's gonna take awhile to reach lifestyle status! But those ARE the people who found equilibrium.

Your (now healthy) body knows what it needs better than a calculator. If you are full, stop eating. But eat healthy! Maintenance still needs good nutrition.

Haunches yes I agree. Some people think u loose weight and that’s it. That’s why they gain the weight back. We gotta find a balance, and here I am finding my balance. It will take me a while but when I find it, it will worth it
