Woke at 215.0, up 1.4 from yesterday. Water retention from excess sodium in pork rinds. I will be eating more today. Also have drinks after work. If I have a snack, it will be meat or cheese. UPDATE: Went out for dinner and drinks with my friend Andy and while I didn't eat that much, I did have whiskey, wine, and even beer, which of course put me over on carbs and put on the water weight. Altogether, had a lot of calories today. Ended the day at 216.6 after dinner. Not sure what we will see in the morning.

sounds like you have a plan , I love cheese am addicted to cheese..lol however have never tried a pork Rine or rind? someone told me what it was and I never got past it... lol

you do you! nothing wrong with enjoying some pork rinds as long as everything else is pretty good. meat and cheese makes a great protein dense snack, will definitely tide someone over until the next meal.

That is the antithesis of everything I understand about being healthy, mindfully and physically. I joined 5 minutes ago & will be canceling in another 5. You're right, I'm too judgemental to stand on the sidelines and hear such senselessness (in a supposedly supportive food/weight loss community) as: "I'm bloated from pork rinds and beer, better switch to meat and cheese".

OMG, life and let life...there is not only one "one and only way" to reach your goal, Rachel. You should be a little bit relaxed. Inform yourself about ketogenic way of eating before condemning it! It is a better and healthier way than you might know by now. And if it is not your way, try something you feel good with...

It amazes me when people follow the same old bull crap methods that don't work and then try to tell other people what they are doing is wrong. I have lost 60 lbs this year and am a size 6, almost a 4. My blood work is amazing. My doctor almost cried when he saw me. This big 6 ft 4 Indian man hugged me. He was so happy for me. He told me I had just added 10 years to my life...all of that eating delicious nitrate free uncured bacon and eggs for breakfast, meat and veggies smothered in butter for dinner, and snacking on pork rinds. Yum.

I gotta “weigh in” here. There is nothing wrong with the way Bill is eating if it works for him. I only saw one person “get their panties in a wad” and that was rachelbloomfield who quickly and harshly condemned the Keto way of eating that is successfully working for many, myself included. There is many ways of eating that work. In the Fat Secret community here we support ALL! Everyone must walk their own path and it is not right to pass judgement on each other. I agree with 2426girl, I’ve lost 71 pounds so far, blood work is textbook perfect, diabetes under control and that’s all eating pork rinds, healthy fats and meat and cheese! I’ve also lost a lot of weight in the past with the highly preached low fat, low calorie way of eating. It worked, but wasn’t sustainable FOR ME. To each his/her own. @Murph (E). I respectfully disagree with your comments my friend. We’re allowed to do that. We’re adults 😜. Never a need to get nasty and that’s my take on Rachel’s comments. Nasty and unnecessary 😢

Hahaha ClarityAnn this to funny but with you my friend as my judge and jury I'm gonna back the key word is judge, not once in my conversation did I judge him and visa versa and Bill brought up pickled eggs and old bars .we were having a friendly rass.you see pork rinds,pickled pig knuckles,pickled eggs and old bars are all related and it would gone on from there until miss 2426girl cut in on our conversation and jumped in my s____! no she didn't read between the lines she made the headlines.Where's that big now to give her a hug.....If there's anybody I don't want on my case is you my friend..so lesson learned.well Bill I guess we can't talk about the old bars good night to you all.it's dam near midnight.

I'm mostly vegan and I use this app every day to track my calorie intake. There's a lot of healthy vegetarians on here too!

Then 2426girls comment was directed at Rachel not you. Sorry if I said that all wrong. Anyway. That’s how I saw it lol. But I’ve been wrong once before 😂😂😂. I loved y’all’s reminiscing about good ole bar days, pickled pigs feet, ooh picked eggs even 😜. I just saw Rachel’s comment harsh and unnecessary and truly read 2426’s comment as being to Rachel. Not you. That’s what I disagree with you about. That’s all my dear friend. ❤️. It’s midnight(ish) here too. Just got my granddaughter to sleep. I may head that way myself.

Murphthesurf ..I most definitely did not cut into your conversation. I was responding to Rachel, which if you read the comments is extremely self evident. However you went after me, talking about "my panties being in a twist" and calling me miss 2426girl to downsize me, both of which were uncalled for. I don't tell anyone on here how to eat, only offer support. End of story. I don't give advice unless its asked for. Rachel was rude and condescending. I was calling her out for it.

And by the way, I don't eat candy and I got fat after a car accident immobilized me and I did it eating according to the great American food pyramid. The whole wheat, low fat wow made me fat and sick. The high fat, low carb wow has made me healthier than ever. I'm not a miss, I didn't cut into your conversation and my panties are my business. The only rude people on this thread who were overly opinionated or condescending were you and Rachel.

2426girl maybe you didn't cut into our conversation but when you jumped in with that hate when "you" people speech.you included me in that...so you kicked me on the way in and then jumped on Rachel with both feet.hahaha I got in the middle of a 🐱 fight ......to .end this hopefully I still agree with Rachel no matter what the click says.Bill handled it find.she's brand spanking new and.didn't expect to hear people eating garbage on a health site....oh no I hear 2426girl coming.hahaha so she'll figure it out.
