One of the unexpected benefits of changing how I eat is that I do way more grilling than I used to and I have gotten so much better at grilling, especially grilled chicken. What I make is honestly better than what I can get at restaurants in town.

Yes I'm sure. We have found since this virus thing and staying home, most things do taste better when cooked at home. Hubby has one of those fry pans with the grids in it, so he grills on the stove mostly these days. I do like hotdogs cooked on the charcoal grill though.

Do you do any marinating first? What types of spices, if any, do you use? Looks marvelous!

Thank you everyone for the compliments. I use my propane BBQ to cook it. I make sure the chicken breast is thawed completely before cooking. I make sure the grill gets to 425°F before I put the chicken on and then cook it for about 5 minutes on one side and then flip it once and cook it for about another 4 minutes. Then I check the thickest pieces with a meat thermometer. As soon as the thickest pieces are 165°F in the middle they are done. I haven't tried marinating yet but that is the next thing I plan on trying. For spices, I've been going with a couple different spice blends I've found at Costco. They are Denali Blend and Goldrush Blend, bith made by Alaska Seasoning Company.

👍 what mountain man said! Yard bird is my go to. It’s easy and cheap and good protein. Easy to mix in many kinds of veggies! My seasoning for grilling is easy. Easy on the salt, course black pepper, onion powder and granulated garlic. I season by color and probably use more garlic than the other spices. Six or so breasts at a time so I’ve got protein for the week!

I'm using these spice blends I found at Costco. They both are made by Alaska Seasoning Company. I live in Alaska so it might just be something our local Costco carries. One is called Denali Blend and the other is Gold Rush Blend.
