UPDATE: 3/3/2020 - Stopped organic ACV (3 months ago) and soluble fiber (1 month ago) since I'm eating/enjoying more veggies. Seems to be just fine👍🏼

UPDATE: 11/29/2019 - See comments posted in my journal today since bio limit is 2000 characters max 🤷‍♀️

UPDATE: 11/01/2019 - Adding organic apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp daily) and soluble fiber (2 tsp 3X daily) to diet to improve cholesterol; light weights to exercise routine to increase fat loss and toning. Also, trying not to eat after 7p.

UPDATE: 10/27/2019 - I HIT THE HALFWAY POINT - 20 lbs - a month later than I planned but it's all good, slow and steady downward progress onward to the final 20 lbs!!!

UPDATE: 10/11/2019 - I BROKE 125...it's been @15 years!!!

I've lost 15 lbs since 7/23, tracking to lose 5-7 lbs by 9/30, which will bring me halfway to my goal to lose 40 lbs by Thanksgiving! I appreciate all the communication, compassion, and information from each/all of you. Mahalo for blessing and inspiring me with your virtual care and support!

At 59 years, 5’0”, and 142 lbs, I'm not happy with my body – how I feel and look – so I decided to start making a change knowing that it took years to get to this point (after children, menopause, stress, and time plus the fact that no body can stay 21 forever – lol!). Also, I decided to get healthier to be able to better help my aging parents. In July, I stumbled upon an AARP challenge (which actually started in June) to walk 30 minutes every day. I did that religiously for almost a month and didn’t feel/see any significant changes when, while checking my Google newsfeed, I discovered a 14-day trial for Noom (there are Noom commercials on network TV now). After 14 days and 7 lbs lighter on Noom (fee), I found FatSecret (free!) and I am committed to the process of getting back to fit and healthy (without depriving myself of tasty food!) so that I can properly look after my parents and truly enjoy life now and after “retirement” :-)
